What is this tool?
The deduplicator scans from top to bottom and remembers comparison keys. Optional normalization changes comparison and, for trimming, the resulting line.
How to use it
- Paste one item per line.
- Choose case sensitivity and trimming behavior.
- Select Remove duplicates.
- Review statistics and copy the result.
Example
With case sensitivity off, Alpha and alpha are treated as duplicates and the first spelling is retained.

Is original order preserved?
Yes. Unique lines remain in first-seen order.
What does trim whitespace do?
It removes whitespace from each line's beginning and end before comparison and output.
Are empty lines deduplicated?
Yes. Multiple equivalent empty lines become one.
